bye bye 3-year-old class... hello Pre-K!
Kiana has offically started in Ms. Audrey's class... the transition was a little more challenging that we thought it would be but now that she has adjusted, she is proud to be part of the big kids class. :)
a few months back, Miss Nisha asked Kiana who she wanted her teacher to be... she happily proclaimed the she wanted Ms. Audrey --- no doubt about it. i think it was being in the same classroom and having the same teacher as Ryan did that inked the deal for her. plus, Ms. Audrey is like family to us. (she reminds me and Lena of Mrs. Colbert from 2nd grade - one of our favorite teachers!) I had a long talk with Darlene about it and she agreed to place Kiana in Audrey's class. She also is allowing us to continue on as the only part-timer in the entire school to enable Kiana to graduate from LMP. unfortunately, we need to find a part-time preschool for Kaili since Darlene won't take on another p/t student since she loses money on them (um, us!).
we're taking the month of July off and will return in August... *sigh* can't wait until i have the opportunity to sleep in a little --- well, at least not have myself and the kids dressed and out of the house by 8am... :) happy days... at least for a little while!
