tried it today...
with Ryan starting CCD in the Fall, i knew that i would eventually have to be brave and take the kids to church again... so since we were free (with Stan traveling), i asked Mom if she wanted to go...
we went ot St. Joachim. for the first half of the mass, they were fabulous... guess i got too excited with that false sense of hope because at that point, the kids went CRAZY... walking all around the pews, buggin' the Villanuevas, talking loud... Kaili even looked into the chapel and saw the back of the Mary statue to which she exclaimed (very loudly, i might add), "Mommy, that's a very big penguin!" (i almost fell over!!! lol)
hoping that future church trips are a little more successful... wish me luck!
