"Baby shower!" --- yes, the first words out of Stacie's mouth when I told her we were pregnant... :) Stacie and Cindy had originally planned a large shower at my house but because I was in the hospital, the shower became a much smaller, more intimate event.
Stan coordinated with the nurses at the hospital to have the shower here. It was so cute! Everyone knew about it! I found out the night before that they had moved it. I was surprised! Originally, we were just going to have a smaller shower at the house with Stan as the guest of honor and the kids designated as the official present openers...

The shower started at 1pm in the PICU conference room here on the 2nd floor of the hospital.

Everything in the room was brown and pink... my fave color combination and the designated colors for this baby's stuff... The walls were covered in pink... :)

After lunch, we played some games... and the winners earned prizes... :)

After presents, we cut into the baby pram cake... (we ended up giving the second cake to the nurses who were VERY happy!)
We received so many very thoughtful and generous gifts from our friends....
The Kwong Dynasty had a lovely time at the shower --- we are so lucky to have such loving friends... *sigh* When I count my blessings, they are definitely on the top of the list!
