we just got through a bout with a 24-hour stomach bug... it started with Kaili on Wednesday with some nastiness comin' out one end followed by it coming out the other end on Thursday. by Thursday afternoon. it was gone as suddenly as it started. we thought it was something she ate or something... unfortunately, it wasn't... late Thursday night, Kiana starting throwing up --- that lasted through Friday afternoon. Ryan threw up at Space Camp (eeeewwww...) and i had to pick him up. his episode lasted through late Friday night. ugh! did i mention that i was puking at 430am on Friday? fortunately, i only had to deal with extreme nausea all day Friday. (ok - i know that isn't much better since i had to also take care of sick kids but at least i wasn't completely incapacitated.) :( it sucked! i didn't call in reinforcements since i didn't want to make my mom or Jon sick. of course, Stan managed to dodge it.
we were supposed to spend the day with the Reyes today... but to be on the safe side (for us and for those around us), we're going to give it 24-hours more. we'll go hang out with them tomorrow.
ok... off to play with myspace. since we're all going to take it easy today... i'm brought my laptop downstairs and work on thank you notes for the kids parties for the past few months --- yes, i'm absolutely horribly, terribly embarrassed! tacky, tacky, tacky me!
