ADHD???

Ryan had his 6-year-old well check today... holy crap... he was such a spaz! i didn't know what to do with him. apparently, Dr. Hogue noticed his hyperactivity and asked me about it. asked if he had any behavioral problems in kindergarten. his attention span was very short, he can't stop moving and he can't focus... either he's a very immature child who needs time to mature... or he's ADHD. ugh! i will be soooooo annoyed if Latone was right. i want to believe that he's just normal kid who has some growing up to do - and i hope he does it this year...

basically, if his grades slip or if the teacher complains about him, i have to alert Dr. Hogue so she can have evaluation forms completed by us and by his teacher --- then she will have Ryan evaluated... what a bummer, 'eh?


on the flipside... Ry is doing well health wise - he's still a little small but he's on the right growth pattern. he's 42-1/2" tall (7th percentile) and he weights 42lbs 6oz (20th percentile). his blood pressure was 90/59. (scary that mine the other day was 97/59!)
