Halloween 2007

The day has been EXHAUSTING... but I think everyone had a good time...

Halloween Eve
* worked until the wee hours on the goodie bags for Mrs. Sprenkel's class...
* prepared all the stuff that needed to go to the different classrooms
*made sure all of the costumes were all set and ready to go...

Halloween morning
we got up early --- but left the house later than we should have (don't get me started on why!)... ended up arriving at school 20 minutes late because we had to park all the way around the curve a few blocks away... not a fun walk when you're carrying 21 goodie bags, supplies for 2 parties and bags of stuff for each classroom while trying to get two whiny kids to hustle as they complain about how heavy their practically empty backpacks are... grrrrrr...

Parade
i ended up helping Mrs. Sprenkel with the kinders... which was lots of fun... the only sad part... i couldn't find Ryan's class when i finally got to break away from the class... :( i was in near tears, i felt soooooooo bad... then i went into panic mode... what will i do next year when all three of them are at Eastin? i know... NOT volunteer to help any class during parade time...

i don't have a picture of Mrs. McGraw's class (hand the "bad mommy award" over to me now!)... here's the one i took of Mrs. Sprenkel's class...

Sprenkel's party
Julie (the other room mom) and i set up the party... i took a bazillion pictures... the kids had a blast...

Pictures from Mrs. Sprenkel's class party - check out pictures of the cute kids in Kia's class... it will take me forever to post all their pictures here so head on over to the album...

the goodie bags i made for the kids... filled with goodies from the parents... (this is before they were completely full)

Kiana's "purple group" at their table - she sits with Cory, Barron and Elisha

a picture of Kiana with her best friend Pirate Samantha

McGraw's party
after i ran home to upload some pictures, i returned to school... gave Mrs. McGraw a pretty autumn flower arrangement (she is a terrific teacher and hasn't been feeling well so it was a gesture of appreciation as well as a get well soon message... :))

Pictures from Mrs. McGraw's class - they are the best group of kids... really friendly and funny!

check out Ry and Mrs. McGraw

Ry and his table mate, Allysiana

after school, Ryan and I tracked down Ms. Darlene and Mr. Madame... um... i mean Mr. Mattos so he could give them their goodie bags....

Little Mud Puddles
we went home for about 2 hours then were off to Little Mud Puddles for Kaili's school parade and carnival...

pictures from LMP's parade and carnival

Kaili lookin' oh so cool as Sharpay

Kaili and her best friend, Alisha... notice she's holding Alisha's ear!

Kaili's class

look! it's Cousin Angelina with Kia's old buddy, Leah!

and the big surprise of the afternoon for us... Sarah's little boy Boston goes to LMP, too! not by our referral... she knew Miss Tammy back when Hailey was a preschooler!

We got home around 5:30pm, fed the kids, then Jo and Ogie came over to hang out... I ended up passing out... Stan decided to let me sleep - he stayed home and passed out candy while Jo and Ogie took the kids out trick-or-treating... which turned out to be the icing on the cake for the kids... they had a wonderful time.

I woke up in time to put the babes to bed... and to prepare for the next day - work... then going to see the Color Purple with Kate and the theatre group!
